Every year, many Computer Science and IT students need to prepare themselves for their final year projects.

I'm kinda confused what exactly does "granularity" or "grain"means in database world. So I just understand that this means "it's a measure of level of details of your data in a database". It's how you could get a minimal grains of your data or how you could get a detailed information of your data that's make sense.

Such reports lack flexibility and granularity necessary to investigate computer science, mathematics, media, communication engineering,  In parallel computing, granularity (or grain size) of a task is a measure of the amount of work (or computation) which is performed by that task. Another definition of granularity takes into account the communication overhead between multiple processors or processing elements. It defines granularity as the ratio of computation time to communication time, wherein, computation time is the time required to perform the computation of a task and communication time is the time required to exchange Granularity is a measure of the noise content of an image. The term comes from the fact that in conventional photography a high noise content image appears grainy to the viewer.

Computer science student Hunmin Lee took first place in the Master’s Category in Georgia State’s 2021 Three-Minute Thesis competition. Mr. Lee is supervised by assistant professor David Kim. He will begin Ph.D. studies at GSU this fall. Computer Science jobs are undoubtedly the most sought after positions right now. It’s no surprise they offer the highest pay among every other engineering field.

Though many SPLs can and have been implemented with the coarse granularity of existing approaches, of granularity as a basis of granular computing. The notion of levels had been studied extensively in different branches of sciences and different fields of com-puter sciences. By extracting a set of common features and principles of integra-tive levels of granularity, the triarchic theory of granular computing is developed. 1.

Zhou, L 2020-12-09 · In this letter, we propose a conceptually simple and effective dual-granularity triplet loss for visible-thermal person re-identification (VT-ReID). In general, ReID models are always trained with the sample-based triplet loss and identification loss from the fine granularity level. It is possible when a center-based loss is introduced to encourage the intra-class compactness and inter-class I'm kinda confused what exactly does "granularity" or "grain"means in database world.
